When you create an account we collect your name, email address, exam board, and level so we can serve the right syllabus. As you practise, we store your answers, marks, and progress so the app can track your readiness and show you where to improve.
Your data is used to run ZimSensei: marking your answers, building your progress analytics, and — if a parent or guardian is linked to your account — showing them your study summary. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
ZimSensei is designed for school students. Parents and guardians can link to a student account to monitor progress and manage the subscription. A parent or guardian should review this policy with younger students.
Payments are processed by our payment partners. We never see or store your full card or mobile-money details — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Written answers and optional answer photos may be sent to our AI marking providers only to score and explain them. See the AI Disclosure.
We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls on staff tools, and rate limits on sensitive endpoints. No method is perfect — report suspected issues to support promptly.
You can update your details in Settings at any time. To delete your account and its data, contact us at support@zimsensei.com and we will action it promptly. Subscription refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
